ブルースハープを始めた方にとって、どんなCDを買えばいいのか迷ってしまいますが、是非とも買って欲しい1枚です。 Sonny Boy Williamson II というブルースハープの頂点にいるブルースマンです。 ちなみに、このCDのジャケットに映っている、おじさんではありません。 わたしの好きな曲は「Keep it to yourself」なのですが「おじさんと若い娘さんとの不倫の関係を、親にも、兄弟姉妹にも、内緒にして『誰にも言ったらだめだよ、おじさんにも奥さんがいるのだから』という意味の歌詞がかいてありま。昔も今も変わらない男女のことを面白く歌にできるのはブルースの面白いところですね。ブルースは全てが、憂鬱なイメージの歌ではありません。歌って踊って面白く楽しくがブルースの基本です。
